Sometimes it's easier to work than to rest.
I'm thankful for the time off, though, no doubt.
I (Travis) took the dogs out the other day (Phobe, Cola, and Curly). They ran 9 rabbits, 5 of which I saw, and 4 of which I could have killed in the span of about 3 hours. It was snowing out, which I suppose provided that all important moisture in the air and on the ground. Of course, I didn't have my gun because it's not rabbit season anymore, but it was just as fun. Cola is the youngest and fastest beagle, with the most shrill bark I've ever heard. She's a natural rabbit sniffer, and can already occasionally take the lead. At one point, two rabbits ran out of the same briar patch and ran in opposite directions. Curly and Phoebe ran after one rabbit, but only Cola ran after the other.
For the record, Cola got her name from Rebekah's nickname (RC or Cola), given her by a certain member of our church. We received Cola the beagle from the same person (thanks, FG!), thus the transfer of the nickname to the dog. So, we'll call Rebekah RC, and let the dog keep Cola.
